ATNZ welcomes two new account managers – one a former ATNZ apprentice!

22 July 2020

We’re thrilled to introduce you to our two new account managers, Simon Tuisaula (left) and Ben Julian (right), who recently joined the ATNZ whanau.

Simon has extensive experience in the engineering field, having cut his teeth in the Royal New Zealand Navy as a marine fitter. He has also worked across the hospitality, building and manufacturing sectors, giving him a wealth of varied experiences and knowledge to bring to his new role as Account Manager for the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

Simon steps into the role previously filled by Roy Adams, who has moved to a new role outside of ATNZ in the Coromandel.

When he’s not helping grow the next generation of apprentices, Simon’s downtime revolves around time with family, his kids’ sporting activities and home renovations.

Our new Hawkes Bay Account Manager is no stranger to ATNZ: he started with us as a tool and die making apprentice in 2005!

After graduating in 2008 and working in a range of tool making roles, Ben is looking forward to sharing his passion for engineering with the up and coming apprentices of his home province. Outside of work, Ben loves to spend time with his young family on adventures such as motorbike riding on the banks of the nearby Tukituki River.

Ben replaces Matt Durham, who has joined industry training organisation, Competenz.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Ben and Simon to the ATNZ team.
