Introducing Timefiler

11 November 2020

Get ready to say goodbye to old-fashioned paper timesheets and hello to Timefiler, ATNZ’s new digital and automated timesheet system.

Coming in late November, Timefiler will allow apprentices to record worked hours, block course attendance and allowances each day as they go, using an app on their mobile device (it’s available for both Android and Apple). A website version is also available if necessary.

At the end of the working week, the apprentice’s completed digital timesheet will be sent within Timefiler to the designated host company approver. Once signed off, it will be electronically forwarded to the ATNZ payroll team – no scanning and emailing required!

Apprentices will also be able to apply for and have approved any leave (sick, annual, unpaid), see their leave balances, and access their payslips 24/7.

Simple, easy and efficient, TimeFiler is going to make life a whole heap easier for everybody.

Watch our quick video update. In it, our General Manager Susanne Martin answers common questions like when is it coming, what to do if an apprentice doesn’t have a smart device or wifi access and what happens to our weekly cut off time for submitting timesheets (short answer: it stays the same).

More details and training for apprentices and host companies will be coming in the next few weeks. Please watch out for our emails in your inboxes.
